Gaius Archelaus Joseph

Gaius Archelaus Joseph’s core practice areas are Banking and Finance, Conveyancing and Real Property Law, Corporate and Commercial law. He has gained valuable experience in the areas of real estate financing and mortgage transactions, having been involved in representing local and international investors and financing institutions, including regional and international Banks, in relation to land development projects in Grenada. Other areas of practice include matters of law connected with Foreign Direct Investment, Employment Law, Insurance Law, Administration of Estates and general litigation.

Archelaus holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree from the University of the West Indies and was admitted to practice in Grenada in 2003 after having attained the Legal Education Certificate from the Council of Legal Education, Hugh Wooding Law School.

Archelaus has previously served as Chairman of the Co-operative Societies Appeals Tribunal, director of the Grenada Development Bank and director of the National Lotteries Authority of Grenada. He is a member of the Grenada Bar Association and the OECS Bar Association and is a Notary Public for the state of Grenada.
